October 28, 2010

Loch Katrine & Ben Venue; Photo Ruth Anderson

Trees, woods and people is this year’s theme for the Forth Naturalist and Historian annual symposium on ‘Man and the Landscape’. The programme includes several talks on the history of Scottish native woods, especially in the Trossachs, including presentations from some of the Great Trossachs Forest partners. Coralie Mills of Dendrochronicle will be speaking on  woodland history around the Bealach nam Bo, Loch Katrine. The event is held at Stirling University, and a programme and booking form can be found here.
